HABITAR This book aims to provide an insight about the way we use territory and contemporary domestic space, through the definition of concepts like territory, place, identity, habitation, ingenuity and nature. It presents a number of conferences and projects realised in a workshop for architecture students organized in an abandoned village.
This book also presents the case study of a scheme to recover an abandoned mountain village, an overview of the consequences of the recent dynamics of territorial interventions, the changes in land use, the mobility of inhabitants, the fast rate of territorial change, urban expansion, and criticism of proposals for the in planning of rural spaces.
